Mindful Schools

Since 2007, Mindful Schools is a leader in the growing field of mindfulness in education to lead the integration of mindfulness into education. 

 

Mindful Schools curriculum has reached more than 200,000 students in fifty states and over sixty countries worldwide with its evidence-based program. 

 

In the 2011–12 school year, Mindful Schools researchers partnered with the University of California, Davis to conduct one of the most extensive randomized-controlled studies to date on mindfulness and children.

 


MBSR-T Program

Gina M. Biegel, MA, LMFT is a psychotherapist, researcher, author and the creator of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens Program (MBSR-T), otherwise known as Stressed Teens

 

The program is an evidence-based program modeled and adapted from the world-renowned Jon Kabat-Zinn's adult MBSR Program.

 

MBSR-T has been offered to adolescents, families, and schools, for over 15 years.

Mindfulness Without Borders (MWB) is an evidenced-based programs on secular mindfulness and social-emotional intelligence.

Programs provide young people with tools and techniques that foster resilience and self-discovery.

 

The intention is to create safe spaces and open dialogues that allow  youth to feel comfortable sharing challenges, confronting biases and developing a positive sense of self despite the societal stigma that still exists around mental health. 


Cosmic Kids Yoga

Going on adventures with stories, role-play and a good portion of silliness with Cosmic Kids Yoga makes yoga and mindfulness fun for kids between the ages of 3 and 8. Children are guided to move and stretch their bodies, including breathing, relaxation and visualization techniques along the way.
